WARRANTY INFORMATION
The
following is a description of the exclusive procedures that must be followed if
we are to make any corrective work covered by your warranty. These procedures
have been developed to help ensure that your request is properly scheduled. We
sincerely appreciate your efforts to follow these procedures which help us to
provide you with the excellent service you deserve. ALL
SERVICE REQUESTS MUST BE IN WRITING. Prior to requesting service, you
will want to confirm that such service is covered under your Halvorson-Mason 1
Year Warranty. Additionally, many items in your home are warranted
directly by the manufacturer. You will need to request warranty related service
on such items directly through that manufacturer and not through Halvorson-Mason
Customer Care. SERVICE

Request Form or call our Portland office at 503 636-0440 for a fax.
You will note that one is a general Service Request Form. Please fill out the form
completely. The more information we have, the better able we will be in
resolving your request in a timely manner. We strongly recommend that you make a
copy of your service request and keep it for your records. Then mail or fax your
Customer Service Request Form to: HALVORSON-MASON
CORP To ensure a prompt response,
please do not give your SERVICE REQUEST FORM to sales or construction staff
members. They are not authorized to accept Customer Service related paperwork
and, although their intentions may be good, this may impact our ability to
respond to your request in a timely manner. ONCE WE
RECEIVE YOUR SERVICE REQUEST
We will contact you to set up an
appointment to inspect the items on your list. During that appointment we will
confirm that the items on your list are covered by your warranty and will
determine the scope of work necessary. After the inspection, we will
contact you to schedule a time when the necessary work may be completed. Service
appointments will be scheduled Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). You
may request a morning or afternoon appointment, however, we are not able to
offer time specific appointments. Please note that we may need to
employ the services of some of our trade contractors to complete certain aspects
of the required work. These trade contractors will contact you directly to set
up their own appointments. Our goal is to contact you within
ten (10) business days after receipt of your SERVICE REQUEST FORM. If you have
not heard from us within 10 days of sending your service request, please contact
our office to verify our receipt of your request.
