Lincoln City and Newport
Ten miles south of Depoe Bay on the central Oregon coast is Newport, and twelve miles north lies Lincoln City, both larger towns. Each town has a library, numerous churches and community college classrooms. Lincoln City is known for its famous Kite Festival and Newport has its Seafood and Wine Festival. Newport is also home to a magnificent Performing Arts Center, the new Oregon Coast Aquarium and the Hatfield Marine Science Center.
